Yoga has enhanced my life. My morning practice keeps me grounded. It gives me the chance to connect with my self. During yoga, I’m completely focused on the moment. I’m present.
When my balance is good, I’m strongest. I’m physically strong. I’m mentally alert. My energy is good. When my balance is off, I know my body is telling me something. I haven’t been eating the healthiest foods, haven’t slept well, or I’m going through a challenging time in my life. Yoga allows me to listen to my body and make the necessary adjustments to get back on track.
For me, the greatest benefit of yoga is the spiritual. There’s a body-mind-soul connection offering me a tranquility that opens my heart making me more receptive to God.
Yoga brings me joy.
